The presenting companies have been hand-picked based on the attractiveness of their business model, market opportunity and fundamentals.

BeWhere Holdings Inc. (TSX Venture: BEW)

About: BeWhere is an Industrial Internet of Things solutions company that designs and sells hardware with sensors and software applications for environmental sensing and to track real-time information on assets. The Company develops mobile applications, middle-ware and cloud based solutions that stand-alone or that can be readily integrated with existing software. Its solutions enable end-users a level of operational visibility that is more easily accessible and significantly easier to implement than in the past.

Opportunity: Since going public in 2016, BeWhere has been in a start-up mode, meaning it faced a big opportunity but had little revenue to show for it. Things are now changing — sales are quickly ramping up and profitability is just around the corner. The company’s management team has extensive industry experience, having built and sold businesses before, and that experience enabled them to strike partnerships with some of the largest companies in the space: Bell Mobility and Huawei. With many important clients, BeWhere will definitely be one of the most interesting stocks to follow over the coming quarters!

Siyata Mobile Inc. (TSX Venture : SIM)

About:  Siyata Mobile is a leading global developer and provider of cellular communications systems for enterprise customers, specializing in connected vehicle products for professional fleets, marketed under the Uniden® Cellular brand. Since developing the world’s first 3G connected vehicle device, Siyata has been a pioneer in the industry, launching the world’s first 4G LTE all-in-one fleet communications device in 2017. Incorporating voice, push-to-talk over cellular, data, and fleet management solutions into a single device, the company aims to become the connected vehicle communications device of choice for commercial vehicles and fleets around the world. Siyata also offers rugged phones for industrial users and signal boosters for homes, buildings, and fleets with poor cell coverage. Siyata’s customers include cellular operators, commercial vehicle technology distributors, and fleets of all sizes in Canada, the U.S., Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.

Opportunity: Siyata is looking to capitalize on the major replacement cycle of two-way radio in-vehicle devices in North America. Those devices are now getting obsolete because most cellular operators have been or will be shutting down their 2G networks. The company’s 4G LTE device is currently in the device approval process with two Tier 1 North-American cellular operators (one in Canada and one in the US). Should this be approved, the gates to a massive multi-billion dollar opportunity will open for Siyata. In the meantime, the company posts record numbers every quarter and can rely on a stellar balance sheet to keep fueling its growth.

Grande West Transportation Group Inc. (TSX Venture : BUS)

About: Grande West Transportation Group is a Canadian bus manufacturer which designs, engineers and manufactures mid-size buses for transit authorities and commercial enterprises. Grande West’s Best-in-Class Vicinity bus is available in 27.5, 30 and 35 foot models powered by clean diesel or CNG designed with affordability, accessibility and global responsibility in mind. It costs significantly less than a regular 40 foot transit bus, is more maneuverable, burns less fuel and emits less harmful emissions. The Company has been successful in supplying Canadian municipal transportation agencies and private operators with new buses and is receiving follow-on orders in many Canadian transit agencies. Grande West is Buy America certified, and along with ABG, its exclusive US distributor, is actively pursuing opportunities in public and private transit fleet operations that would benefit from the Vicinity.

Opportunity: There is a trend going on in the North-American transit market called the ”right-sizing” of the fleets, meaning that transit agencies are gradually introducing smaller buses into their fleets to avoid running almost-empty standard 40 foot buses on non-busy routes. Grande West aims to capitalize on that trend with its unique offering of smaller Vicinity buses. Based on recent order announcements, it seems to be working! The company just turned profitable last quarter and its backlog for 2017/2018 deliveries now stands at over 350 buses valued at over $130 million. With a Buy America certification in hand and an eye on the US market, it is needless to say that 2018 could be a breakout year for Grande West.
