The month of April promises to be very busy for us, with two major investor conferences only a couple weeks apart! Our first destination will be the Essex House in New York City, where The MicroCap Conference will be hosted on April 9-10^th. Two weeks later, we’ll be headed to one of our favorite destinations, Las Vegas, for the second edition of the Planet MicroCap Showcase. This one takes place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from April 24^th to 26^th. With 120 presenting companies expected in NYC and 70 in Las Vegas, our trips will be jam-packed with company presentations and 1 on 1 meetings!

We wanted to give you a quick overlook of the two events, as well as provide the opportunity to register to those interested:

The Planet MicroCap Showcase 2018

Last year, we attended the first edition of this conference and all we can say is that it was GREAT. The event is put on by Stock News Now (SNN), the official microcap news source. We’ve known Robert Kraft, SNN’s chief operating officer, for a few years and knowing how hard-working he is, we expect another exceptional conference this year! Readers who are familiar with our poker backgrounds will also understand why we like this Las Vegas conference even more!

When: April 24^th, at 12:00pm to April 26^th, at 4:00pm

Where: Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Las Vegas

Who will attend: 400 to 500 investors, fund managers and analysts

Presenting companies: Approximately 70 presenting companies. The list has not been released yet.

In addition to company presentations and 1 on1 meetings, the first half-day will feature a microcap investing workshop with many panels and speakers. Philippe will be taking part in the Planet MicroCap Podcast LIVE, which promises to be very interesting based on the quality of speakers! You can see the full list of panels here.

The MicroCap Conference

This is a conference that’s been around for 3 years and has really established itself as one of the best conferences out there. We attended almost every (if not all) editions, from Philadelphia to NYC and Toronto. This seventh edition will be the biggest to date, with over 120 companies and 600 attendees expected.

When: April 9^th, at 9:00am to April 10^th, at 3:00pm

Where: The luxurious Essex House, overlooking Central Park

Who will attend: Over 600 investors, fund managers and analysts

You should also know that we will be hosting a Roundtable Discussion as part of the educational component of the conference. The subject is still to be determined but we have a few interesting topics in mind.
