We’re very excited to let you know we’ll attend The MicroCap Conference once again in New York City this upcoming October 1-2. This is a conference that’s been around for over 3 years now and has really established itself as one of the best conferences out there. We attended almost every (if not all) editions, from Philadelphia to NYC and Toronto. We’re always impressed to see how fast these guys are growing, and this edition will again be the largest so far: up to 150 companies and over 800 attendees are expected!

We’ve repeated it time and time again, we think that attending a few conferences every year is a must to become a better microcap investor. Not only do you have a chance to meet face to face with management teams and find new investment opportunities, you can also chat with other investors and learn about what they like, how their strategy is different than yours, etc. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get one or two weeks of work done in only two days!

In addition to company presentations, one on one meetings and networking opportunities, there will be a few guest-speakers, expert panels and moderated round-table discussions throughout the event – another great opportunity to learn. Finally, we should mention that the list of presenting companies will soon be released on the event’s website. We already know a few Canadian companies that have registered and we’re convinced the line-up is going to be very high quality, as always.
